Between 2014 and 2016, I spent hundreds of hours inside the flooded caves of Quintana Roo: as a certified cave diver, as a guide, and as a photographer. From all that, I have a few photographs and a few videos recorded with a GoPro and a single light. Anything the light did not touch was not captured. That minimal archive — the gap between having been in a place and being able to show it — is the origin of this project.
